I'm a successful foster parent!

Not quite Nicaragua, but critter-related: I've had a broken-legged weiner dog at my house (and at work, and in the car, and at other people's houses...) for the last couple of months, and now that she's finally recovered I got to turn her over to an adoptive family yesterday! Both of my other foster attempts have failed, because I somehow justified keeping my "fosters", hence the abundance of critters at my house. Third time's a charm I guess.

On the World Vets front, we've had a pledge of donated air miles for the next spay/neuter trip! It won't be my turn again for a few years, but someone else from my office is going to have a blast! Dr. Steele gets to go every year, and the rest of the staff get to take turns. Which was great, but now we've hired three more staff members, so it'll be a while... ah well. I get to work our freebie clinics here in town. We put those on (sponsored by North Beach PAWS) four times a year. Last time we "fixed" 55 critters. Our first one this year will be just a few weeks after Nicaragua, so Dr. Steele and I should be ready to rock'n'roll!

Speaking or rock'n'roll, has anyone else seen Jonah Rocks? This kid is amazing!
